Description & applications
NI-7 is a basic coated electrode depositing monel weld metal. Idela for welding monel to monel, Ni Cu clad steels, Inconel and nickel alloys and for surfacing on steel parts for service against corrosion by sea water, chlorinated solvents, sulphuric acids and alkalies. The weld metal has excellent cracks resistance and has good high temperature properties like creep strength.
