Recommendations
This alloy should be used on steels, manganese steels and malleable iron, ideal for new and worn out parts. Multi Layer (multi pass built up is possible, when parts are subjected to heavy abrasive wear and mild impact.
Princial Applications
Scrapers, tampers, plough shares, shovels, screw conveyors, coal chutes bucket teethe, buckets crusher plates, crane wheels, conveyor parts cultivators, pulverizers, tampering tools, pellet plant parts, brick machineries, hot work dies and shear blades etc. Wire drawing drums.
Procedure
Clean weld area and gouge/ grind fatigued metal. For heavy section preheating up to 200°C is required. Use weaving technique & use shorter to medium arc. Avoid excessive heat build up and allow cooling.
